There were several gems, including Howl, of course, Ignu and Song. I especially love how they changed my view of Ginsberg’s poetry, which I respect so much more now than I did when I only knew Howl and Other Poems though I have also read his Indian Journalswhich is quite good.

Maybe the level of work I have to do is dictating my reading habits but all I can say is that I am grateful for this. There are some good recordings I read ‘Howl and ‘America’ when I was at university studying 20th century American Literature. Kaddish is not a linear story.
