What I was a little disappointed with was Stolarz didn’t really go into Ben’s powers or Ben himself, he still remained a total mystery but hopefully Stolarz will get more into Ben and Camelia’s powers with the third installment. While I liked the resolution of the mystery aspect in the first book, it totally let me down this time. The ending was frustrating, for me, too–Camilla makes a mistake of not trusting Ben and she doesn’t even apologize for it.

But the Twilight series didn’t sto,arz the whole stalker thing? One of my favorite parts of the book was reading the stalkers journal entries.
I was not expecting it at all. Camelia’s chemistry teacher has an annoying practise of decreeing that whoever you’re sitting next to on your first day will be your lab partner for the rest of the year.
Camelia is being stalked, Ben is still mysterious and a possible suspect, and Camelia still has very strong feelings for him. I wedge the secrdt out against my board, enjoying the therapeutic quality of each smack, prod, and punch. After a cute and sweet scene where they talk and Ben ends up spending the night at her house, cuddling her all night while she sleeps, it finally sticks and a distance starts to come between then.
At the same time, Camelia begins to get odd things in the mail like pictures of herself raria slightly creepy and foreboding messages scribbled on them. Only now it’s from someone new. In addition to pining for Ben constantly, a new love interest emerges.

Laurie Faria Stolarz really knows how to construct an elaborate plot to flow with such ease, and continuously keep you on the edge of your seat with the mystery and romance of the narrative. I love her friends.
He walks in the room and I know I’m in love with him. Ben denies ever saving her life, and claims, he is being mistaken for stklarz else.
Deadly Little Lies
Ben wants to help her but still–did it seriously have to rip off the most famous crappy YA novel of our time? One thing I loved about the romance of this book is that it wasn’t what defined the storyline.
Reposeted from by book blog: Jan 15, Eugenia rated it did lirtle like it Shelves: In Camelia’s heart, even though she is still obviously in love with Ben, she see’s Adam as a good friend and it slows turns into more after Adam asks her out on a date.
I can only hope that the next book recaptures the essense of th first. I think I like th I actually liked this one a lot more than the first one. I didn’t get too boring for me to not finish it but the best I can say is it’s mildly entertaining.
Ben says she’s in danger?
