I liked the characters in the first book, but they became bland in this second.
Description Claire has her share of challenges. The story plot just flows from book to book and I’m thankful for that. The writing is engaging and very witty.
I didn’t hate it but I didn’t enjoy it either. I realize the writer is doing her best to make it a young adult book, but by putting a 16 year old kid as she is constantly described in adult situations the author makes you feel weird about, it is just down right wrong.

Sometimes I enjoy what’s going on but at other times I find Claire to be rather annoying and some of the choices made to be laughable. Fortunately, much of the previous story gets retold in bits and pieces as you read so it’s not that hard to remember what had happened. I mean, I’m glad she’s more confident now and more of a new person, because frankly at first she really bugged me.
And worse still, Shane is quickly implicated in the killings.

If you think about the grand scheme of the story they really aren’t the people you want to hear more about. I practically hate almost everything about this book.

Told in alternating perspectives, we follow two characters Plus a lot of other characters did ridiculous and wrong things but you don’t see them getting punished for it. He bothered me many times, but in the end he was alight.
I read it ’cause I’m in the mood for reading a series with around 10 books and if anyone can recommend me something better than this, I’ll be very grateful. Relationship connections are acknowledged, but the pre-development isn’t mentioned.
It’s been a busy week since starting my new job with hardly any time to read but I still managed to read this gorgeous shiny book!

The scene is portrayed as being of dire significance, and yet once introduced, he pretty much only crops up again in Eve’s diary entry at the conclusion of the book I actually thought the whole diary thing at the end to be a cute touch, and quite liked it. She vaine it and squeezed.
This left me feeling a little lost though since I read Glass Houses more than a year ago. If you’re gonna be good, cqine good, if you’re not, let me go.

This series is very episodic, which makes it hard to put down. It gets more gothi 3. I feel bad though because Eve deserves happiness and obviously Michael gives her that.
The characterisation of Claire is spot on for the target audience, and the lore of the vampires sharing Morganville with her – and controlling so much of it – still so evidently adding to established urban fantasy fiction.
