I haven’t downloaded cnovert tabs from the Hangout in convet while. Over time I also utilized TablEdit to create jam tracks, after generating drum tabs and bass tabs I would convert everything to midi and then save convvert wave files and have jam tracks to give my students on cd to practice with. Live long and prosper! Although I use Finale for composition and arranging work, it sounds as though TablEdit may be more user friendly for banjo tabs. Barney Gave a trial run for about 5 minutes, and was sold! I understand, Tom, but I do wish people would check before posting programs and such and then make those of us who use other OS’s than MickySquish if the program is available to convedt or not.

I printed out several tabs from the Internet and I was really impressed by the print quality. The chord editor in Guitar Pro can create any chord over any fret spread and suggest the most convegt names for the chord.
Why, because it fits best my way of working and, for my money, has the best interface for tab entry as well an tqbledit printing ability.
I have been using TablEdit for some time now for the notation but I need the ability to print the Yabledit as well as the notation. This step can be skipped after “Unknown Sources” has been enabled. TablEdit has rekindled my love-affair with the guitar. Philip I am not fluent in reading music and TablEdit makes it possible for me to pick up new songs on the guitar in a relatively short time as compared with before.

Please keep up the good work. Samuel TablEdit is the most complete tabbing program I’ve ever seen. Over the last 5 years I haven’t been teaching as much and every so often will get an e-mail telling me that TablEdit has been updated, and I always have to ask Keith for my registration info again, which he is more than happy to provide for me so that I can update my software. I hope to “raise my game” with this tool. I think there’s another place to do this but Ian Brilliant and well converr.
I’ll have to try out the demo.
