Check it out, and comment. Clayton has also released the book Brushworks, a comprehensive text on the subject. I think a better idea would be to maybe take a couple lessons, and go with it on your own from there.

I have the book, I don’t really like it that much. D Happy Freakin’ Birthday! Today, Clayton is widely known as a brush master. The etching on it seems to hold up pretty well versus the coating on any of the Remo heads. InClayton completed and released his instructional video entitled “The Living Art of Brushes”.
This was the first drum instructional video dedicated to brush playing. Start with some jazz stuff, with brushes Tommy Flanagan’s “Overseas” record is a fantastic place to startand move on to anything.
I’ve been using it for several years now and really like it for brushes and I don’t have to change it for sticks.
