There was a note of ill- gobok peremptoriness in the sound of his voice. On this occasion they were burying in tombs of the third grade six persons, among them the general and the lady.
Scores a few chuckles. Bobok in Russian roughly translates to “a bean” which in context means jibber-jabbery nonsense, and that pretty much sums up the whole story- all 14 pages of it.
