I agree that backpacking in Killarney would probably be more rewarding than in Algonquin. While the trail is easy to access from the west tgails of the park I would not recommend tackling these trails until you have good backpacking experience. Is this attraction accessible using public transportation? I like Mizzy Lake especially with an early start because it can be busy, Track and Tower is also good as a lf. Share another experience before you go.
The trail offers 2 separate access points; one off of Hwy 60 AP 31 and the other on the west side of the park AP 4.
