On the page, the piece looks like a poem.

Hauntingly, her work captures insights of reality; of disease and resentment, and perhaps most poignantly, of self-destruction, that is in some ansa relateable to even the reader with the most perfect of lives.

Books by Sarah Kane. I don’t think it’s a very good play though It’s simple, yet evocative of so much more than is first recognisable.

Listen and understand, and when you feel contempt don’t express it, at least not verbally, at least not to me. This book is not yet featured on Listopia. Quotes from Ansia – 4.

Her command of speech and slurs of thought is simply astounding. What’s the difference between hearing someone come into a session and read their suicide note to you versus them reading this?

Just a moment while we sign you in to your Goodreads account. It’s beautiful, it’s dark, kanr funny, it’s tragic, it’s morbid, it’s complex, it’s to-the-point, it’s hopeful, it’s hopeless, it’s logical, it’s chaotic, it’s there, in your face, it’s the truth.

Ansia – Psicosis by Sarah Kane (2 star ratings)

Sometimes overshadowed by the grievous following of Kane’s suicide in it’s post-production, my own fascination stood not with the morbidity that circulated her prose, but rather the powerful emotion of her living word that resonates with us long after ingestion. It’s beautiful in the most confusingly painful way, and it’s something that’ll never leave you completely.

No characters are kaane, and even their number is unspecified. Definitely I did not enjoy reading this but I do believe that ansla was worth-reading. There are no discussion topics on this book yet.

Not pleasurable, anisa immensely poignant and strong. This book is not yet featured on Listopia. My only issue with Kane is ever, with such a blatant emphasis on suicide, could someone have done more to save her? I read this book in both languages: However, one kanne afraid of breaking the mould, Kane allows her ow Dark, destructive, and consistently uncomfortable, Kane’s work reads like a heavy meal; difficult to digest and weighty in your stomach, but riddled with an impact that leaves you feeling both morbidly queasy and fully satisfied, all at once.

Gregory Coutaut rated it it was ok Apr 04, Everything is so true and clear and powerful, it feels like reading a diary that was never meant to be uncovered, satah perhaps that’s what my own fascination feeds on. I cannot imagine what Sarah Kane has been through to end up feeling this They are characterised by a poetic intensity, pared-down language, exploration of nasia form, and, in her earlier work, the use of stylized violent stage action.

I don’t know, maybe if I read this when I was sixteen and still trying to figure out what the issue was with myself and the world around me I might give this a kanr rating, but, I read this as an over year-old bored with the empty, emotionally high strung, somewhat poetic ravings of depressives such as Sarah Kane and Sylvia Plath and the like – if this is what the author is giving me, they better infuse the work with a lot else to recommend it or else I might as well just go visit the psych-ward and hear a far range of satah insights into topics both ridiculous and serious.

The words are familiar and other times incredibly distant. She does not intend to please us; this book is not written to be enjoyedunless you’re an utterly barbaric sociopath. Her amazing way of using language is remarkable. Overall it was a unique play that I would recommend if you wanted to see a unique take on sarag topic of mental health however, have the warning that you will probably been extremely confused.

Ansia – Psicosis by Sarah Kane (3 star ratings)

The dark lines of sarh narrative which are often split and fragmented as her thoughts, are beautiful but do not hold the promise of hope for life between their lines. Fuck you for bleeding the fucking love and life out of me.

No trivia or quizzes yet. Ishmael rated it it was ok Mar 27, Preview — Ansia – 4. It’s meant to be read as well as acted. Not in terms of grappling with the meaning but with the emotions involved.
