Yesterday I received a letter from Kastam says my parcel telah ditahankan oleh kastam di Butterworth Pulau Pinang because “Barangan a,ta adalah bahan yang mengandungi racun berjadual yang dikawal di bawah Akta Racun “.

They asked me go to pharmacy ajta to seek for advice. Today morning the pharmacy department phone calling me told me that they not allow release the parcel to me, and they also not allow send it back to Canada. I asked the pharmacy department: If cannot send it back to Canada, I cannot get back my money, so my money just gone like this”?

Is there any solution to get back my money or release the parcel? Can I just hire customs clearance services agent to settle it for me?

Any customs clearance services company to suggest me? This post has been edited by zac Show posts by this member only Post 2. Show posts by this member only Post 3. You can get back your money by paying more money Show posts by this member only Post 4. But prepare some cash in the pocket first.

Added on August 29,6: Once your goods are confiscated by the pharmacy department, you might as well say good bye to your money unless they allow you to send them back to the exporting country.

Home of akha Nga Choy Kai! Aug 30 The goods are still in kastam office, better faster find an agent go deal with kastam before kastam send the goods to bpfk Confiscated means no agent in Malaysia can get your things out.

P This post has been edited by zac P bro, my mum runs a hair saloon and gets all hair product from local supplier BPFK told me that poison licensed company also cannot help me to release the parcel, because require the import license.

Lord of the Rings Group: Customs are just doing their job, dude. Unlucky for you that you didn’t know about restrictions regarding buying medical products overseas. Regarding contacting companies to clear for you I don’t think that works, but I wish you all the best in finding one willing to do it.

Maybe this will turn out to be a rather expensive lesson for you: Just some slight clarification here, it is illegal to bring in unregistered products containing substances under the Poisons Raxun without a valid import license from BPFK Biro Pengawalan Farmaseutikal Kebangsaan.

Thus, the first link does not mean that minoxidil does not require a permit, since it actually does. The list of Controlled Substances in the first link is a different matter altogether and has no connection to the Poisons List. I’m a purchasing pharmacist for 192 general hospital in Malaysia, so I deal with import permits rather frequently. They just reply, “cannot”? No further explanations based on Akta blablablabla?

The job of a forwarding agent is to help you to clear your goods. Once your goods are confiscated usually by bpfk, you can’t get them out because it is classified as illegal import. Dont akkta so can easily send back, as when you send back the same goes you need to passby their country custom also. If they do permit to aktaa those items then no problems. If not, no point sending back too: Not enough stars Group: I also thought University Teknologi Malaysia!
