As indicated by its title, this book has an in-depth explanation about database system concepts. If you like books and love vbms build cool products, we may be looking for you. Its better to check this book first for any doubt rather than searching the siilberschatz Internet resources.

Have good explanation xbraham every chapters. I wish there were some more in-depth examples, but as a survey book it’s not too bad.

Goodreads helps you keep track of books you want to read. In the real world you have as much chance to work with a commercial database as with an open source one. Undoubtedly, this is the best book on Database concepts. Transaction chapter is explained very well and in very simple words. This just means that I cannot give as good of a review as I might otherwise. At silberscjatz end of the book there are several chapters on popular commercial databases.

I only covered chapter during my Database course, but overall the explanation was clear and the examples were helpful.

Though I never read this book completely, but I definitely sure it’s a good text book for learning database system. It seems that these chapters do not add any value.

This book was used silberscgatz my Manajemen Informasi class during I had some issues with the book for class simply because we were using e-book copies abarham mine did not like me very well.
